Personal growth as a playful journey!

What if it was fun!

What if it Personal Growth was something you were meant to enjoy.

Yes, sure it’s hard and emotional, but the underlying theme is you are growing into that best version of yourself

There is nothing like bringing all your shadow sides out into the light. That is what helps to diminish them and reduce their negative impact on our lives.

Take joy from the fact that you are on your right path. Because as long as you are willing to look inwards and be open to learn, explore and embrace new experiences you are already heading in the right direction. By doing so you are being fully present for yourself and you are being fully human in the process. You are literally learning and growing as you go, and in turn in that process of your own self actualisation. Thats what it is to live a fully authentic life.

It’s easy to go from one day to the next on auto pilot. That doesn’t require too much effort or strain. And yet if you are not consistently growing and expanding, having new experiences and challenging yourself you are only half living up to your own true potential.

It’s all about your journey of personal growth, of stepping into your power and embracing all those experiences that your life can offer you, about working through your blocks, finding solutions to your problems and taking personal responsibility for that process.

So where would you like to start, what personal growth itch do you need to scratch. What blocks are getting in the way of things for you? Who has inspired you recently? What inner whispers do you get for your life? Allow yourself to lean into those and be curious and open to what you can do about those inner whispers and personal growth urges.

My greatest belief shift that opened me up to a whole new range of experiences was this. “Never say never,” it’s never too late to shift and evolve. Let go of that concept of time as a limitation on what you can do or achieve. There is always enough time.

So go play, have fun with your own personal growth process, accept that initially things will feel scary, that is a normal part of that process. Stepping into new experiences, choosing to make life changes and adapting or rephrasing limiting perspectives requires courage, but if you lean in and get comfortable with the process it ultimately becomes fun and natural.

If you are looking for somewhere to start, below is a journaling prompt for you to consider. Take some time to reflect on this personal growth question, meditate on it, let your mind lean into your imagination as ask yourself the question “whats next for me?”. Embrace this process of introspection and self-reflection, don’t judge it, just play with it.

Journaling prompt:

““Write down three qualities or traits that you appreciate about yourself. Reflect on why these qualities are important to you and how they can support you on your personal growth journey. Now write down one aspect of yourself you would like to improve or work on, acknowledge what you would like to be different about that aspect of yourself and why”

Once you have finish reflecting and journaling on this. Can you choose one action step that is going to help you take that next personal growth step to address that particular aspect of yourself?

If you would like some support in finding your next personal growth step I offer wellbeing and soul sessions to help you create a routine that will support you and help you tap more deeply into your unfolding life journey.
